Important Changes To The
Cross + Word Web Site
| Hey, this isn't Cross + Word! | Well, it is and it isn't. Please let me explain. Earlier this year, Tricia Tillin (the head of Banner Ministries and owner of Cross + Word) decided for personal reasons to withdraw from active ministry. This decision would have meant the end for Cross + Word, a web site that has inspired and educated many believers for years.
Rather than have these articles disappear, I asked Tricia if I could perhaps share a few articles on my own site. Instead, Tricia granted me permission to provide an archive of the whole site. |
| So, you're taking over Banner Ministries? | No, I will not be taking over Banner Ministries. Banner Ministries effectively ceased to exist when Tricia decided to withdraw from ministry. I am merely archiving the site for those who can still find use of it. |
| What changes will you be making to the site? | I will be making some changes to the site, but most of them will not affect the main content. For example, as Tricia is no longer involved in ministry, the content pertaining to her specifically has been removed. In addition, information instructing readers how to financially support Banner Ministries has been and is being removed.
Other changes will involve updating the links section and minor housekeeping stuff, but the articles will not be changing. |
| Will you be adding articles to the site? | No, I have no intention to add anything to the site. My intention was to keep the site available for those who would find a use for it, not to make it into my own. I have my own ministry work which keeps me occupied. |
| Where is Tricia? Is she still involved with Cross + Word? | As I mentioned before, Tricia has decided to leave the ministry. She is not involved with Cross + Word in any fashion, outside of granting me permission to host it. |
| Are you affiliated with Tricia or any other ministry? | No, I am not affiliated with Tricia, or with the now-defunct Banner Ministries. In the same light, I am not affiliated with any of the authors of the articles found on the Cross + Word web site, or with any of the authors or ministries mentioned in the links.
We are merely providing an archive of the web site, and nothing more. This archive should not be construed as some form of endorsement of Tricia Tillin, any of the authors, or any of the ministries listed in the links page. |
