The Kansas City Prophets Exposed

Ernie Gruen's Report

Transcribed by Tricia Tillin

On this page you may download the PDF file containing the entire 233-page report by Ernie Gruen that circulated to thousands of pastors in an attempt to show them what was really going on at Grace Ministries with the KCP.

As far as I know, this document is not available anywhere else on the Internet (correct me if I'm wrong.)

It gives a large number of personal testimonies, eye-witness accounts of abuses within Kansas City Fellowship, and many quotes from the tapes and messages given by the KCProphets showing their Manifested Sons of God teachings.

As you can read in the personal testimony of Don Clasen, a member of the church for eight years, these abuses were not acknowledged at the time, nor was the latter-rain/MSOG/ dominionist teaching corrected but has increased over the years to become almost the guiding light of the fellowship.

For those who are unfamiliar with downloading, or the Adobe PDF format, here are a few simple instructions:

The PDF format is a portable document format readable by anyone with the Adobe Acrobat Reader. PDF files contain graphics and text in exactly the same quality and style as the original documents from which they are prepared, but compressed to make the file sizes small enough for Internet download.

Click on the file name given here:

*** DOWNLOAD ERNIE GRUEN'S REPORT ***

Do not select "save as..." within your File menu, as that will result in saving only this HTM page to your hard drive.

Anyone with a PDF reader plug-in attached to their browser will be able to read the file while online (this however will take a long while to display on screen.)

Otherwise, follow this procedure: right-click with your mouse and look at the drop-down menu that your browser displays. Within that menu (depending on which browser you are using) you will see an option for saving the file to your own hard drive. In Internet Explorer it's "save target as..." and in Netscape it's "save link as..."

Select that option, and in the dialog box that appears, choose the location on your own hard drive to which you are saving the pdf file. Make sure the filename given in this dialog box ends in .pdf

Click OK to start the procedure of saving the file to your hard drive.

Once it's there, go to that file on your own computer, and double-click on the filename. If you have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed (most people do) the file should open automatically.

What to do if the file won't open:

Check to see if you have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader. If not, this is freely available all over the Internet and on many freebie CDs given away with computer magazines. Obtain a copy and install it. For instance, click HERE. Then proceed as above.

Do NOT write to me for advice. I'm not a free computer technical service.
