CROSS+WORD
Exposed!!

or possibly not...

"The Conspiracy was ---
well, er - Nonexistent!"

Perceptive web surfers and those of you who enjoy conspiracy theories are probably aware by now of the series of articles that the redoubtable Mrs Aho of Watch Unto Prayer has produced in her never-ending quest to uncover strange plots and secret agendas. She has called her latest effort "The Conspiracy Was Strong" under the general heading "The Discernment Ministries" and there she continues her pursuit of the elusive Illuminati change-agents that deceive the Church - to wit, "discernment ministries".

That's right! All the discernment ministries including this one are now part of a grandiose secret agenda to destroy you. Want to know more? Read on...

PREFACE:

About a week ago, in the thick of researching and writing the article that is now on the web site (Doctrine of Demons) - which was a difficult article to write as you can imagine, and not without opposition from the enemy - I headed off towards bed thoroughly exhausted in mind and body and needing comfort from the Lord.

Too tired to do a proper Bible reading, I said to the Lord, "Lord, I really need you to direct me to a portion of scripture that will be just for me at this time, for encouragement…"

I felt He said I should read Psalm 63 and 64, and also Psalm 21. I started reading Psalms 63/64, but it was hard to keep my eyes open. So I left Psalm 21 to the next day. With a clearer mind, I realised that all three had a common theme. (You could read the entire psalms from your own Bible if you wish, as I did, but to save space here I'll just quote the parts that have become relevant as a word from the Lord:)

PSALM 63
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

PSALM 64
1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

PSALM 21
11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

I read them out to my husband and we both agreed - I said to him, "strange, it's like the Lord is saying that somebody is plotting against me and lying behind my back." Then I went back to work.

The Plot Uncovered

This morning, a friend called and said "have you seen the latest?" On the Watch Unto Prayer site, bold as brass, Barbara Aho accuses me in particular and ALL the discernment ministries in general of being in league with the Freemasons, Bilderbergers and various other illuminati groups. Apparently, we are following some hidden agenda to introduce heresy into the Church and pervert those who are coming out of the revival churches.

Her rantings have to be seen to be believed.

The Devil doesn't like being exposed

The timing of this accusation is interesting. No sooner do I go public with the plan of the devil for the next wave of deception (risking my reputation in the process) than individuals with time on their hands and nothing better to do with it, set about implicating me - and many other fine Christians - in a theosophical web of deception.

Well, no doubt you are by now eager (as I was!) to find out how I am involved with a major global conspiracy. Apparently, I am one of a number of discernment ministries deliberately importing kabbalism, freemasonry, British Israelism and other occultism into the churches.

We do this, according to Barbara Aho, by EXPOSING it, thus by a cunning plan, we throw people off the scent and make them think we are genuine ministries - clever eh?

Here's the evidence: (are you ready for this?)

A Unitarian named Anthony Buzzard (whom I do not know and have never met) had (in the past) a link to me on his links page, where he also listed a variety of other Christian ministries, some good, some bad.

GASP!!

Yes, this is the groundbreaking news that Aho shares on her site. If you think she's off the wall, wait until you read what else she has to say.

Guilt by association is the key. Don't relax and just enjoy the fun - you might be next. If you know a man who knows a man who knows a woman who was once in the occult, your card is marked for sure, and if you wait long enough you, too, may turn up on Aho's pages!!

Who links to whom is a feeble basis for condemnation, especially the kind that Aho spews out. But since she delights in the fact that Anthony Buzzard links to my site, we should find out who links to HER site. This is a sobering exercise and before long you realise Aho travels in some very strange company indeed - the list is attached to the bottom of this file.

What would Mrs Aho make of the fact that a Gnostic site links to me, or a pagan one, or a Catholic one? Maybe I'm a Roman agent who delves into the occult in my spare time? I shouldn't wonder - I've been accused of working for Rome before by people who should know better.

What is Aho playing at? Is she jealous, malicious, deluded or just plain round the bend? Unfortunately, it matters not, because you and I know that some juvenile believers will read what she says with enormous glee, believe every word and set about circulating it far and wide, thus doing the devil's work for him.

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! (James 3:5-18)

She's gone too far this time!

The first time Aho and her cronies had a go at me, I said and did nothing. I get a lot of this sniping and insinuating from people, and it's not worth the time and trouble to refute it.

Then she did it again, and that time I also held my peace. Now, with this latest article, she attacks all the discernment community and in addition the innocent Christians who read our web sites, telling them to be careful and suspicious of what we stand for because they are supposedly falling for a great masterplan of deception! Now that she's putting a stumbling block in the path of those whom God loves and cares for, I HAVE to respond.

It's difficult enough to survive in this minefield that is the Church, with the guilt of not submitting to abusive authorities, with the pain of losing friends, with the confusion of not knowing exactly who to trust anymore, and with terrible pressures on all sides to accept deception from Toronto et al, without having to deal with suspicions about the very people whom God has sent to HELP you!! May God forgive her for this.

SUSPICIONS, RUMOURS AND LIES EXPOSED

Even though Aho's article is unworthy of notice, I feel an obligation on behalf of those who will be confused by it, to point out where she has strayed from the truth, which is just about every time she mentioned me! Listed below you will find her accusations, contained in three articles on her site entitled "The Conspiracy Was Strong". Underneath I have given the truth.

LIE: "Mr. [Andy] Gould's article and other anti-Hebrew Roots material were removed some time ago from the websites of various discernment ministries {ie. CROSS+WORD] subsequent to a threat of litigation from [Peter Michas of] Messengers of Messiah Ministries"

TRUTH: Did Peter Michas ever threaten me or insist I remove any material off my site? NO. I don't know Peter Michas and have never published anything for or against him. When the Aho's launched their attack upon him last year, twisting his words, I sympathised with him by e-mail and received a kind letter by return. End of story. My Hebraic Roots section, and New World Order sections of my site, which were rarely visited, were cleaned up during a routine reorganisation which was nothing whatever to do with Michas or Aho.

On the other hand, it was WATCH UNTO PRAYER, (Aho's site) Vicky Dillen, Barbara Aho herself and others whom Michas threatened to sue, because they libelled him, (as well as Andy, me, Yacov Prasch and a whole load of other people!)

LIE: "As I have interacted with these ministries, I have pondered many "worrying connections" within their own ranks. Having confronted those whom I knew personally, but to no avail, I believe that the Christians who follow them have a right to the following information."

TRUTH: Neither Barbara Aho nor Vicky Dillen nor any of her associates have contacted me about these matters, not even once. They make their allegations in complete absence of contact with me, and without checking out with me whether there is any basis for truth in what they have said.

LIES: "Sir Anthony Buzzard's web page of referrals to Christian Resources included the Christian Conscience, CROSS+WORD, Focus on the Family, Jews for Jesus and Discernment Ministries. (Unfortunately, this page has just been removed.) I would learn also that Anthony Buzzard attended a pre-conference to the East Lansing seminar that had been held in Atlanta, Georgia and included only the leadership. Why Atlanta? Who was setting the agenda for the Discernment Conference? Do the Discernment Ministries have a larger agenda of which Christians are unaware?"

TRUTH:

  • Firstly, I do not even know Anthony Buzzard, have never met him and know absolutely nothing about him. Whom he links to is his affair. Throughout her articles, Aho makes much of the fact that Anthony Buzzard is BRITISH. And so am I. Thus - there "must" be some connection between us! (I didn't attend the conferences in question by the way, so I cannot personally vouch for what happened there.)
  • Secondly, who cares if Anthony Buzzard once linked to CROSS+WORD - what does that prove? (If who links to whom is the basis of our judgement, I thought I'd take time to find out who links to Aho - you'll be entertained when you find out what sort of sites list Watch Unto Prayer as a resource!! (below)
  • Thirdly, due to the distortions surrounding this conference, those who attended have issued a statement putting the matter to rest. Please read it HERE.
  • Fourth - Aho asks "Why Atlanta" --- er, why not?
  • The remainder of her silly suggestions that somehow there was a secret New World Order agenda for the Conference do not even deserve a mention.

LIE: "Due to his involvement with the Discernment Ministries, which purport to be Christian and to expose the New World Order…"

TRUTH: I think I'm safe in saying that anybody who truly loves the Lord will know that the major discernment ministries not only "purport" to be Christians, but ACTUALLY ARE. To suggest that they are masquerading as believers is devilish. Jewel Van Der Merwe, co-founder and head of Discernment Ministries is one of the most gracious, self-effacing, hardworking and dedicated Christians it has been my privilege to know. She has made many sacrifices to bring the truth to light and she stands for God's word in all its fulness. A more honest person you could not wish to meet. I invite you to visit Jewel's web site to see if you can find anything remotely unChristian or deceptive about it. This suggestion that the Lord's watchmen and women are pagan deceivers posing as Christians is wicked in the extreme! (Aho repeats this allegation at intervals in her articles and intends it to include ALL the well-known discernment ministries including mine!)

LIE: "The Scottish Stewarts claim to be the sacred Merovingian dynasty, rightful heirs of the thrones of Scotland, England and, therefore, of the lineage of Jesus Christ. The Stewart genealogy, however, is currently contested by other claimants to the dynastic line. The Forgotten Monarchy of Scotland lists other "sacred families" which were related to Scotland's contender and king, Robert the Bruce…. Of the sacred families of Scotland, the Leslie Clan is of interest to our inquiry. …We do not know if Sarah and Lynn Leslie [Christian Conscience] subscribe to this sort of elitism based on sacred bloodlines, however, we do lack a better explanation for their affiliation with prominent individuals who advocate British-Israelism, such as Peter Michas and Sir Anthony Buzzard."

TRUTH: Sarah and Lynn Leslie are also two stalwarts of the discernment ministries, having exposed much that is wrong with the Church and political systems of our day. Please see their web site. They happen to share a surname with Scottish ancestors of several hundred years ago. THIS is enough to damn them in Aho's eyes - a good example of her method of research, and an illustration of why she became persona non grata amongst genuine researchers last year after she used those famous talents against bona-fide ministries connected (in her mind) to the Hebraic Roots movement. Whatever good material she uses is tainted by her tendency to damn everybody but herself as being part of a global conspiracy. Her connections with Patriot groups and the ultra right-wing extremist "intelligence" network has had the inevitable result of turning her former discernment into suspicion, paranoia and bigotry.

Here's another prime example:

"Great Britain's subversion of America depends upon the use of religion as a cover, and specifically the Pentecostal Movement of which [Pat] Robertson is a leading figure and many Discernment leaders, such as Jewel van der Merwe who is an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God."

There are so many unproven allegations here that it's difficult to do anything but laugh. No creditable research writes in this way. Is she seriously suggesting that every Pentecostal minister is an agent of the devil? Presumably!

Aho goes on to "prove" using material that can only be described as toilet-fodder, that the British Intelligence Service "invented" the Pentecostal Movement! I came across the article that she cites as evidence for this some time ago, and circulated it to friends for amusement since it was clearly written by a crackpot, but Aho thinks such research is genuine and believable. For instance this:

Anton Chaitkin's groundbreaking article on the British Intelligence creation of Pentecostalism traces the current religious operation in the United States to the Rhodes eugenics operation through Oxford University's Rhodes Scholarship program. Yes, there is a fifth column of British elite in America who are still loyal to the dominionist and eugenics ambitions of Great Britain.

WOW - I didn't know we Brits were still trying to take over the world and kill off all but the elite. Did you? Groundbreaking news indeed, especially if you are American and hate the British as Aho does. Given that America is responsible for giving us Microsoft, elevator music, and baseball caps worn back to front, the plan seems strangely appealing. Perhaps we should restrain ourselves, though, because I enjoy "Friends" and Frasier" and there'd be nothing to watch on TV if we did away with all the Yanks.

LIE: Also a member of the "sacred bloodline" is Phyllis Schlafly, whose Eagle Forum Alerts are circulated throughout the Discernment network.

TRUTH: Speaking for myself and for others I know personally, Schlafly's work (Eagle Forum) is NOT circulated by us since it is not considered suitable material! However, her name IS listed alongside Barbara Aho's on sites that cater for this kind of thing.

LIE: "On the Cross + Word web site under Discernment Links, Tricia Tillin of Banner Ministries had listed Lambert Dolphin's Christian Resource Links and Lambert's Web Links. Following a Watch Unto Prayer expose of Lambert Dolphin, Banner Ministries discreetly removed the former link but retained the latter, with a disclaimer of sorts. Lambert's Web Links introduces visitors to a plethora of New Age and occult web sites. One of these is the Edgar Cayce Foundation."

TRUTH: Yes, I do (sharp intake of breath!!) have a link to Lambert Dolphin since he has an enormous number of links to various websites, and some of them are useful and save me the trouble of providing the same links on my own page. Many other Ministries do the same. (I removed the duplicated link to Dolphin on one of my routine checks. Aho thinks too much of herself if she believes I - or anybody else - jumps to her tune!!)

At the top of my links page I say: "We do not necessarily agree with all the doctrines and statements at the following sites. You need to exercise all due caution and use your own judgement!"

I have links to Gnostic sites, and New Age sites and Revivalist and Latter Rain Sites… I give fair warning to people that they have to use their own judgement visiting any of the links, since not all of them will be acceptable, and there's a mixture of good and bad everywhere you go on the web. People living in the real world know this. Clearly Mrs Aho lives in a different world where nothing bad exists, and she goes all to pieces when she discovers error. I think she should stop playing discernment games and go home and get tucked up in bed before she does herself a mischief.

Oh - and I apparently removed the link "discreetly". Um - how do you remove a link on a website "indiscreetly" I wonder.

LIE: "Listed also among Tricia Tillin's recommendations are several articles on the Torah Codes, which are occult numerology or gematria, along with the web sites of CNP members, Grant Jeffrey and Chuck Missler, who promote the popular Bible Codes, the Christianized version of occult numerology. To learn the truth about occult numerology, which has been repackaged for Christian consumption, please read Vicky Dillen's reports on the Hebrew Roots Movement, specifically Part VIII: Gematria and Numerology."

TRUTH: Oh dear! Mrs Aho, what a pity you didn't use your much vaunted powers of discernment on this one. For your information, I have three links to Torah codes pages all of which are AGAINST the common ideas of there being hidden codes in the Bible. One link (I checked last night) has now disappeared, but the other two work and are sensible, balanced reports on the Codes for the information of my readers. I have in the past disputed the authenticity of the Bible Codes and, indeed, was criticised for NOT believing in them. So much for Aho's claims that I promote them.

My Grant Jeffrey link is labelled "some good amongst the dross". I provide a service to those who visit my page, which means offering a range of links to cater for all tastes. There are links to some ministries of which I personally disapprove, but I know they are of interest to other people, Unlike some, I don't see myself as a censor to control where other intelligent human beings go on the web. I assume they can think for themselves, and if they can't, that isn't my problem.

NOW WE COME TO THE CONCLUSIONS OF AHO'S ARTICLES.

This is most ridiculous set of allegations I have ever seen produced by a so-called researcher. If this is the best she can do, I suggest she quietly puts herself into retirement, because she is just making a laughing stock of herself. She writes:

"DISCERNMENT GAULEITERS
"Council for National Policy member, Howard Philips, once stated that young ex-members of Young Americans for Freedom, the youth organization of the John Birch Society, were strategically positioned as were the Gauleiters of Nazi Germany, officials of the Third Reich, placed in each district to enforce Hitler's policies. (God's Bullies, p. 111)

"We believe that the assignment of the Discernment Gauleiters is to apprehend the refugees who are fleeing the local churches (which their accomplices in the CNP are destroying) and to channel them into the same deception via the back door -- all the while assuring them that they are among the very elect who have escaped the apostasy!

"It should be obvious that, while these ministries have exposed certain spiritual errors, they are promoting others of a far more sinister nature. They major in exposure of the New World Order, the Revival, Promise Keepers, and the Roman Catholic Church, which is singled out as the Whore of Babylon, but have we ever read an expose of the Merovingian conspiracy which works through the secret societies of Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry and whose avowed purpose is to overthrow Christianity in revenge for the dissolution of the Knights Templar? Never.

For a start, the watchman ministries are called by God to expose false doctrine in the churches not Illuminati claptrap which anybody worth his/her salt as a christian ought to be able to detect as arrant nonsense without our help.

Discernment ministries are dealing with apostasy, not tired old Holy Grail rhetoric that has been around since the 1970's and does nothing but titillate the senses and create a hunger for controversy.

And, once again Aho is WRONG in alleging that we "never" deal with the Merovingian/Holy Grail side of things! This was a subject I covered several times when I circulated my newsletter, as all who read it will agree.

Not all the early issues are online, but in my office here I can reach out and take a copy or two of reports I did on the book "Holy Blood, Holy Grail", the Merovingians, Templars etc., long before Mrs Aho ever heard of it. She was probably still cutting teeth and filling nappies when I did my own research on this subject.

And I now (August 31st) have contradictory evidence from one of Aho's OWN SUPPORTERS that discernment ministries DO indeed cover the Templar/Merovingian subject. Here's one statement to me by e-mail:

You call some of Barb's material "Illuminati claptrap" and say that you never deal with the Merovingian/Holy Grail side of things. But, Tricia, your discernment friends do. Check out Ed Tarkowski's webpage.

Although I once exposed the Holy Grail stuff, for me now it's old news, but for Mrs Aho it's vital modern research because she only just found out about it, whereas we all passed by that signpost years before. For Aho, our lack of interest in her chosen subjects somehow "proves" that discernment Christians are driving the innocent into hidden traps… and what we do with them thereafter is not specified. I wonder if we have a few dark dungeons underneath our elitist castles where we keep these innocents locked up? Possibly. After reading Aho's report I'm ready to believe anything.

But more importantly, does the fact that a person doesn't cover one aspect of heresy mean that they, by default, must be PROMOTING IT? This is a good example of Aho's thinking, and her supporters follow her lead. Again from an e-mail:

"By not exposing [The Templars] when specifically warned about it, you must be approving the doctrine."

No comment should be necessary on this priceless piece of logic. So let us move on to the next portion of Aho's article:

To the contrary, they have created a milieu which prohibits writers from citing Roman Catholic sources as evidence against the occult societies without being labeled pro-Catholic. All things Roman, including the early ecumenical councils and creeds which upheld and established orthodox doctrine, have been similarly maligned, robbing believers of their heritage of Church history. These are the very tactics and agenda of the Freemasons, who would suppress volumes of written records in Roman Catholic scholarship against themselves.

I don't know what's she's complaining about here, but discernment ministries haven't got the power to "prohibit" anything! The very fact that Aho has a web site where she can say whatsoever she pleases proves this! She is welcome to draw on "Roman Catholic sources" if that's the only way she can prove her case, but she should know that most of the Protestant Church is wary of what Rome stands for and, with good reason, mistrusts their extant literature.

"Likewise, the "anti-Semitic" label is applied to those who dare to expose the Hebrew Roots Movement. Why do these organizations [discernment ministries] promote the Hebrew Roots Movement and take such pains to discredit anyone who dares to write about its connections with the Kabbalah, which is also the basis of Freemasonry and Rosicrucian doctrine? Is their agenda the British-Israel agenda of worldwide Freemasonry? If so, they are the true anti-Semites -- the synagogue of Satan -- who would supplant the Jews, robbing them of their land and birthright. We shall not comply with the [discernment ministries'] Rosicrucian agenda, but will use every document that is available to us in order to expose their conspiracy.

As far as I know, NO discernment ministry "promotes" the particular heresies connected to the Hebrew Roots Movement of which Aho speaks, even those that avidly support Israel and other pro-Jewish organisations.

But I must speak for myself and say - again - LONG before Mrs Aho and friends discovered the HR movement, Andy Gould and I were exposing its more heretical statements. Indeed, Aho would never have found out about the subject had we not done the research in the first place! Andy and I were the first people to expose the HR movement in this country and, to my knowledge, on the web. Now Aho thinks she's the world expert on this subject and takes all the credit for it. Andy's work appeared in "Mainstream" in 1996, three years ago! (When did Aho's material appear?)

Nobody would object to a proper, balanced, rational expose of Hebraic Roots, but Aho builds her case out of unfounded allegations and mere suspicions. Aho's method of research goes something like this:

  1. Fred has a link on his site to "Somewhat Ministries"
  2. "Somewhat Ministries" quoted "Iffy Ministry" in one of their articles, who also published a book mentioning...
  3. "Offshoot Ministry", which has written about the "Strange Institute" which encourages people to learn Hebrew
  4. Hebrew is also used by occultists as part of a kabbalistic system
  5. Kabbalists are satanic
  6. Therefore Fred worships satan.

And, just who is doing the "discrediting" of ministries, we or SHE? As far as I can see, only Mrs Aho and her small group of supporters are in the business of discrediting other ministries!

She's got a fearful mentality that sees bogeymen under the bed, a persecution complex that sees everyone but herself and her colleagues as evil conspirators with a hidden agenda - the very hallmark of extremism.

"In our research, we have often wondered why individuals and organizations which appear to be in opposition to one another, have secret connections."

Aho never tells us what these "secret connections" are that she has discovered. Perhaps she's "discovered" the cordial relations that people of differing beliefs or convictions still maintain, despite their conflicting viewpoints. That argues for godly behaviour, rather than a satanic conspiracy. Aho would have us all behave as she does, denouncing everyone who disagrees with her. On the contrary, although we may not always agree with one another we do not set out to knife eachother in the back, as she does! Misunderstanding this, Aho perceives some grand "Process" at work instead ---

"The case is solved upon understanding the Dialectical Process, which requires the dynamic of controversy to lead the masses to a synthesis of values. If there is a principle of social manipulation which Christians should learn to recognize, it is the Dialectical Process which has eclipsed the peaceful atmosphere that once characterized the Church of Jesus Christ. This phenomenon, well-understood by the elites, is the subject of our report The Third Way: Politics of the Radical Center.
Remember Joel's Army? We should recall the infamous words of Rick Joyner predicting a civil war within the Church that would involve the dismantling of traditional Christian organizations:

"What is about to come upon the earth is not just a revival, or another awakening; it is a veritable revolution. The vision was given in order to begin to awaken those who are destined to radically change the course, and even the very definition of Christianity. The dismantling of organizations and disbanding of some works will be a positive and exhilarating experience for the Lord’s faithful servants. A great company of prophets, teachers, pastors and apostles will be raised up with the spirit of Phineas…"

Can Aho really be using Rick Joyner as evidence for her ludicrous allegations? Surely even she knows how hard we have all worked to expose Rick Joyner and his false prophecies. To suggest that we would at the same time be joining his Joel's Army and fulfilling his aim of dismantling Christianity is a claim so far beyond reason that it is difficult to formulate any answer.

"Constance Cumbey first pointed out that the Body of Christ in general is a least one or two major movements behind the enemy at any given time. There is a good reason for this, if one truly understands the psychology involved in deception. The larger conspiracy has various operations in place early on to define the issues and to control any opposition that may arise, should someone suspect the real deception.

"The strategy is to set up front organizations which instigate controversy and then control both sides of the issues. Appointed leaders [appointed by WHOM, and HOW??] are designated as authorities, although they have no legitimate authority derived from Scripture. These self-appointed shepherds operate as facilitators of discussions and debates in e-mail and other forums, but are in reality functioning as change agents. Should independent researchers begin to address issues which have been determined "off-limits" by the facilitators, they should expect that, without fail, a serious campaign will be launched to discredit them.

Aho is smarting because her anti Hebraic Roots articles were not well-received. She can't take criticism, but as I always say to those who get burned by circulating their thoughts around the Net - if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen! If I paid heed to all the agitators ready to launch a "serious campaign to discredit" me, I would be a nervous wreck. It's par for the course in this kind of ministry, and mature researchers know how to ignore such trivia. However, Aho works it up into a major plot against her ministry. That exalts her as the ONLY genuine researcher around and at the same time demonises everybody else that she doesn't like. Poor girl, she really should learn to calm down.

"An enterprising journalist of the Revolutionary Era, Philip Freneau, also discerned the nature of the dialectical operation employed by the elites, and wrote an incisive article titled: "Rules for Changing a Republic into a Monarchy." His satire reveals the blueprint for the transformation of society by the would-be elites, who view themselves as superior to the vulgar masses and have only contempt for them. Power elites operate by the same rules today, having a contingency plan for those who are not deceived - and dare to expose - the true conspiracy.

"Those who follow the discernment ministries should be cautious in the extreme. Scripture does not authorize spiritual leaders who raise themselves up outside of the local churches and in opposition to them...

And maybe this is a good place to point out that Aho and her group have indeed "raised themselves up as a spiritual leaders" and expect everybody to trust their judgement implicitly, on the flimsiest of evidence. By what authority, inside the churches or outside of it, does Aho confidently label all the discernment ministries as Freemasons and Rosicrucians with a hidden agenda for destroying the church? Since she points out the need for spiritual covering of ordained ministry, could she give us the names of those ordained ministers of her own church who read and approved her articles before she published them on the internet?

"Like the apostate leaders of the ubiquitous parachurch organizations, leaders of the discernment ministries carefully protect themselves from the close scrutiny that is possible only in the local church setting.

Once again, I ask what "close scrutiny" Mrs Aho enjoys from her local church leadership?

"Believers who permit themselves to be shepherded by self-appointed leaders whom they neither know nor may observe on a personal basis are vulnerable to religious opportunists with hidden agendas. (And of course that would apply to Aho's followers as much as anyone else!!)

Does reading articles on a web site really bring you under the authority of the writer as a "shepherd"?

Aho here implies that websites visitors are nothing more than aimless cattle drifting around the internet unable to fend for themselves, waiting to be snared and roped in by some unscrupulous writer. Do you feel that is a fair description of you? You might be insulted to discover that you are so incapable of being led by the Holy Spirit that you fall prey to every charlatan on the Net.

"Although we are assailed from all sides by every manner of false prophet and teacher, there are churches in most cities which are pastored by faithful Christian ministers.

That is not my observation of the British scene, nor the testimony of thousands who have been forced out of unsuitable churches. Aho worships the Church like her god, not realising that Christians put themselves in much more danger sitting under controlling pastors in a local church than reading an article on somebody's website that opens their eyes to error.

"These churches, which are usually found through prayer and patient seeking, are still God's appointed institution for the spiritual guidance and protection of His people."

Show me one person who has been led to a good church and I'll show you hundreds who have not! Is Barbara Aho deaf to the cries of God's chosen? Is her heart so very dense and caught up with her own narrow-minded agenda that she cannot see what is going on around her? I have to believe so, or else I would have to accuse her of hurting the very people she sets out to help.

This Train is off the Rails

Watch Unto Prayer, like so many other sites today, is wrapped up in non-essentials while missing the point of the REAL deception. Aho has seriously lost the plot. A great pity.

While the devil perverts the entire course of the Global Church introducing the sort of doctrine that I regularly expose on my web site, Watch Unto Prayer gets itself worked up into a lather about an imaginary Illuminati plot.

My advice to Mrs Aho is that she should take a couple of Valium and lie down before she bursts a blood vessel. And I suggest she changes the description of her ministry from "discernment ministry " to "baseless rumour-mongering and suspicions ministry" because that is what she now has instead of something ordained by God.

WHO IS LINKING TO "WATCH UNTO PRAYER"???

So, Anthony Buzzard links to me (or used to)?? Well, who links to Barbara Aho's site, I wonder.

I got around 100 hits of assorted sites that list Watch unto Prayer as a recommended link. The surprising thing to me was how few of them were acceptable Christian sites, and how many of them were sites that we would blush to be associated with, yet they must presumably have vetted Mrs Aho for suitability and decided to place a link to her site regardless. This only shows that if you get into bed with the devil, even for the supposed purposes of research, you end up sleeping with the enemy.

The sites listed below are just a selection of those who link to Watch Unto Prayer, and it makes for interesting reading. (Links correct at time of writing, August 24th 1999)

http://www.gwcinc.com/stglinkpg.htm

This eye-popping site lists Aho as a source of Patriot material. Its main heading is Aryan Nation/Skinheads/White Supremacists. Also listed on the same page are a frightening array of occult, sex and hackers sites, for example, "Vaginal Secretions Page", "The Militia - is it Time to Fight?" and "Warez ftp" (hackers site) - and oh so much more!!!! Go see, and amaze yourself at the company Mrs Aho keeps in her search for truth.

"Frog Farmer" who says he does not endorse white supremacist or neo-nazi views but lists hundreds of such sites on his links page, along with Patriot sites and also Watch Unto Prayer.

They list WUP under a "Priory of Zion" link and also lists them on their links page under "Rosicrucians and Rennes-le-Chateau."
http://www.apostolic.net/news/

http://iresist.com/cbg/NWO_UN.html

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Academy/6002/links.html

A Roman Catholic site listing many Marian apparitions. Also lists WUP amongst their numerous shrine and apparition sites!

Also listing Barbara Aho is Balaam's Ass, a site I would never endorse because of its extremism. However Aho does not have any such qualms about the site.

Balaam's Ass site promotes Peter Ruckman and says about him: "Dr. PETER RUCKMAN'S THEOLOGICAL SEMINAR OF THE AIR -- This study was put together for the teaching of new believers, and it is sound in content and is as scholarly as anything you will ever hear done by a fallible man." High praise indeed for a man who retranslates the inspired word of God from the English translation and says the English words are more inspired than the Greek and Hebrew originals!! But those who love the KJV above all else tend to cling to any driftwood in a storm, even Ruckmanism.

Last word from Mrs Aho: "We shall not comply with the [discernment ministries'] Rosicrucian agenda, but will use every document that is available to us in order to expose their conspiracy."

Last word from me: Happy hunting - and would the last one boarding the train to Strangeville please close the door behind them.
