HEBRAIC ROOTS SUMMARY PAGE

has been replaced with this response
to the lies and distortions of Vicky Dillen

Please read the following:

You have probably come here after clicking a link in an article on the site "Seek God" by Vicky Dillen. Good! I am glad to see you as this gives me an opportunity to explain, and to show you that the things Dillen claims about me are not only false, but are part of an ongoing campaign to discredit discernment ministries.

"Do not say, 'A conspiracy,' concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread. (Isa 8:12-13)

Vicky Dillen and her little group of agitators on the Net have inexplicably set themselves against ministries such as:

  • Moriel Ministries (Jacob Prasch)
  • Ariel Ministries (Arnold Fruchtenbaum)
  • Christian Conscience (Sarah Leslie)
  • Discernment (Jewel Van Der Merwe)
  • DITC (Sandy Simpson)
  • Antipas (Steve Shearer)
  • Bill and Jackie Alnor (Sentinel)
  • Mike Oppenheimer (Let Us Reason)
  • Ed Tarkowski
  • Rev. Philip Foster, St. Matthew's Church, Cambridge
  • Dave Hunt
  • Al Dager (Media Spotlight)
  • Berit Kjos
  • Dave Wilkerson

What is the one thing that links all these ministries and the others that are now being attacked and denounced? Think.... yes, these ministries have been in the forefront of exposing the False Revival, the New World Order, the Latter-Rain teachings, the New-Age and things like Ecumenism that threaten our lives as believers!

Many of them [including myself] have also done work exposing the heretical teachings of the Hebraic Roots Movements. Despite this, we are branded as conspirators and deceivers!

This makes me wonder if the hidden aim in unworthy and unfounded attacks such as those launched by Dillen and Aho is to discredit and remove the warnings of the watchmen as they labour to sound the alarm to the Church!

Vicky Dillen and Barbara Aho and their group reject anyone who does not subscribe to their narrow set of fundamentalist beliefs. (See below for their inquisition paper designed to trap and publicly brand anyone who deviates!) .

But there are other charges made against me. And I have to admit, I am guilty!

  • GUILTY - of occasionally using a Bible other than the King James 1611 version.
  • GUILTY - of believing that the biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit are still in operation today.
  • GUILTY - of maintaining working relations with born-again Christians who do not believe exactly as I do in every detail.
  • GUILTY - of providing external links on my website to other ministries such as Dave Hunt.

Beyond that, Dillen can find little to complain about. But she goes right ahead and condemns me anyway!

IS WHAT VICKY DILLEN SAYS TRUSTWORTHY AND TRUE?

Before telling you some more facts about Vicky Dillen and her group, let me briefly highlight the errors of her recent articles. I was forced to address her former work, with Barbara Aho, in my statement "The Conspiracy was - well, er, Non-Existent!"

However, undeterred by the facts I laid out there, these women continue and intensify their assaults upon this ministry and many others. Let me share some of these with you:

From her article on the zodiac: "Jacob [Prasch]'s close friend, Tricia Tillin, recommends several articles on the Torah Codes, which are occult numerology or gematria..."

NOT TRUE! Why don't you check out for yourself the links I have to the Torah Codes page? This lie has also been aired by others, who are in in cohorts with Dillen, but they are all wrong. I have covered this subject before, but they clearly have trouble reading plain truth, or they would have corrected themselves by now.

At the time of controversy over the Torah Codes, I did the service of providing links to articles about this subject, to back up my statements that the Torah Codes ARE NOT A BIBLICAL OR RELIABLE SOURCE OF INFORMATION!!!

I provided links that I considered were scholarly and sensible. Many of these links have now gone, it being a subject that has been forgotten by most people now; however I still maintain the links to the ones that remain - and these are AGAINST the Torah Codes.

Dillen excels herself in this lie. Not only does she get the facts entirely wrong, but she turns them on their head and say the complete opposite of the truth.

From "lying signs and wonders": F. W. Grant's observation in "The Numerical Bible" that "benefactors" typically exhibit an overlording spirit appropriately refutes this elitist mentality of the modern prophets: "The title of 'benefactor,' ('Euergetes') is that by which one of the Ptolemies is known in history and was often bestowed upon the Roman emperor. But this flattery was not to be among His disciples. . . Heaven is to be no place for the ambition of man. Can the disciples take up service to win lordship by it, and state and authority? ..."

These "benefactor" teachings are found amongst promoters of the Post-Tribulation Rapture teaching such as Ed Tarkowski and Tricia Tillin, who maintain that the Church will go through the Tribulation. Some of their associates like John Yonge teach that those who have prepared for the Tribulation by stockpiling, laying away gold or stocks, paying their taxes years in advance and generally behaving themselves will not be persecuted during the Tribulation. "

(1) DOMINEERING?? NOT TRUE! I challenge any person to find, anywhere on my website, articles, bulletin board or e-mail where I have encouraged or promoted the concept of the lordship of one man or leader over Christians (much less, myself)! Although graciously permitted by the Lord to research and write about the apostasy, I have presented my articles for your examination, and not in any sense of being a teacher, leader or overlord (benefactor) to anyone.

In place after place, and letter after letter, I have stood against this very concept, denying myself popular acclaim, or any leadership role, and forbidding anyone to "follow me" as if I were something special. In whatever I have been praised, promoted, or popularised, it is without my doing or consent (For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Ps 75:6-7)

I am only interested in pleasing God, not man, and put no confidence in man's opinions of me, either good or bad. (1 Cor 4:3-4/1Thes 2:4-5).

(2) POST-TRIB?? NOT TRUE! I do NOT, repeat, NOT teach or promote post-tribulationalism. In fact I have often opposed post-tribulationalism when the subject has arisen! I defy anyone to find where I have taught this. Look in my statement of faith which has been on my website for years! I advise Dillen and Aho to do some simple research into their facts before they make any more errors about my supposed beliefs.

Vicky Dillen makes bold statements, but has no evidence for her lies. After falsely accusing me of post-tribulationalism, she then tries to link me and Ed Tarkowski with those who stockpile gold and goods!!! She wants to give the impression that that is what we teach - but it is NOT.

I have made no secret of my beliefs on the endtimes, but nor do I force them on others against their will, nor label a man a deceiver and apostate if he happens to have a different view to mine!

From Dillen's Jacob Prasch attack, part three: "Bill and Jackie Alnor, promoted by Jacob Prasch, Tricia Tillin and Dave Hunt, have recently moved from Philadelphia..."

PROMOTES?? How exactly do I "promote" the Alnors and Dave Hunt? Do I sell their materials, have joint conferences, host them, give out their books, advertise their ministries. NO. Then how?

The ONLY mention on my site of the Alnors and Dave Hunt (indeed, anyone else connected to me in her articles) is an external link in the list of ministries on my links page.

All of my links are given as a service to others. I do not (unlike Dillen) set myself up as the Thought Police or Censor of what people do or where they go on the Net. Knowing that Christians want to find popular ministries, I make those links available. THAT DOES NOT MEAN I ENDORSE ALL THEY SAY AND DO!

On my Ministry links page I say clearly:

"The links below are to Ministries and Organisations that you may find of interest. Cross+Word website does not have connections to any of these Ministries, nor do we necessarily endorse them."

What then is the problem?

From the same: "Tricia Tillin of Banner Ministries promotes the ministries almost identical to Jacob Prasch, such as Berean Call, Grant Jeffrey, Chuck Missler, Lambert Dolphin, Calvary Chapels and so on...."

and

"We know that Jacob Prasch, Tricia Tillin, Lambert Dolphin and many others also promote Calvary Chapels."

EXCUSE ME? Just where do I "promote" any of the above-mentioned ministries, except by having a link (sometimes with warnings) on my external links pages?

As I showed in my answer to Aho's material, she herself has links to, and is linked by, a number of VERY questionable sites, including occultic and new-age ones! What does this prove. NOTHING. But if we are going to play the links game, those who live in glass houses should beware of throwing stones.

From Attack on Jacob Prasch, part One: "When the series "To Embrace Hebrew Roots," was posted in 1999, many ministries we exposed removed any referenced articles from their web sites. Some from so-called [note this insult] Discernment ministries such as Ed Tarkowski, Tricia Tillin and Andrew Gould removed all anti-HRM reports from their websites at that time, with public apologies to such HRM promoters as Peter Michas. In fact, while still advertising her Articles: Hebraic Roots Movement on the Banner website, Mrs. Tillin still has none of the related pages accessible. To our knowledge their various public apologies or support of Mr. Michas has never been rescinded."

UTTER FABRICATIONS! Once again this lie is repeated, although Dillen and Aho know perfectly well it is not true. I have covered this in my earlier statement, but will repeat it here in the hopes that somebody is listening this time.

I did NOT "apologise" to Peter Michas for anything! Why would I? I neither know nor support the man, and have none of his material on my site. He was not mentioned in my articles, nor was there ever ANY issue requiring me to "apologise" to Peter Michas or other HRM people and my ministry or website. This is a cruel invention out of their own minds.

I did NOT "remove" the articles as a result of the laughable Aho document! They think too much of themselves if they believe I would rearrange my website to suit them. Nor was I somehow ashamed or afraid of the subject. Why would I be? I commissioned and encouraged their production in the first place!!!

The anti-Hebraic Roots material produced by my friend Andy Gould (which I might add was posted to my site long before Aho and Dillen woke up to the dangers of the Hebrew Roots Movement!) was moved to Andy Gould's own website at his request, so that he could keep them up to date. There the articles were, and remained, for all to see. Why should I encourage this, and give links to his articles, if I disapproved or was afraid of them?

Andy Gould, who has a strenuous full time job, has had both computer and ISP problems resulting in the loss of his website as well as most of the HRM articles that he produced. He is working on new material.

Andy produced a statement at the time of the first Dillen/Aho attack, which was then attacked by Tom Lamb (Radical Pilgrim site) and the whole debate can be read by accessing this web address: http://www.petercoates.com/hamearah/ahostat.htm

But please note that this web link takes you to Andy Gould's former site to which he now has no access as far as adding or deleting material. His ownership of this site has lapsed, even though it still displays his pages (this is a curious feature of many ISPs who do not remove web pages even when the account has lapsed.)

From the same: "For example, Sarah and Lynn Leslie of the Christian Conscience continue to promote Peter Michas and his teachings. Despite this, Tricia Tillin of Banner Ministries (Cross +Word) asserts that "NO discernment ministry "promotes" the particular heresies connected to the Hebrew Roots Movement" and defends herself and various friends."

I repeat, for it is true, that NO discernment ministry attacked in these disgraceful articles by Aho and Dillen consciously and deliberately endorses, promotes or teaches the heresies of the HRM movement! The confusion only arises in the minds of those who make no distinction whatever between bona-fide messianic groups and heretics.

Can it be proven that Sarah Leslie's personal liking for the teaching of Peter Michas has compromised her voice in the discernment field, or that she is consciously promoting Hebraic Roots heresies?

In any case, whether or not I remain in a good working relationship with Sarah Leslie is quite beside the point, and does not have ANY bearing on my work for the Lord. Judge my work by its own merits, and do not indulge in "guilt by association" as do Dillen and Aho throughout their disgraceful article!

From the same: "Further, while Jacob Prasch and many in the "Discernment ministries" and their associates, have in the past declared Rick Joyner and his associates false prophets/teachers, we know Mr. Joyner is united with those who support and indeed stand in agreement in the Messianic arena....

"Why have these same Christian "comrades” and Discernment ministries never shown the connections of Rick Joyner with the Hebrew Roots and the Messianic Movement or its ecumenical foundations? ...Why are [they] supporting the very people and ministries that uphold Joyner, the World Christian Movement or the ecumenical Messianic Movement?

"There is no middle ground here. Those who endorse and support Rick Joyner are either guilty of promoting false doctrine or are deceived and therefore need to be rebuked. Either Rick Joyner is like Peter Michas, Bob Jones and all the others proclaimed to be false teachers or false prophets, or he’s not. This is not "agreeing to disagree", and "working alongside" or as Tricia Tillin states.""

THIS IS CLASSIC! First, Dillen says that we discernment ministries oppose Rick Joyner as a false prophet, which we all do. You only need glance at my website to find that. I have been one of the strongest opponents of Rick Joyner.

Secondly, Dillen links Joyner with some ecumenistic and latter-rain messianic movements, (just one of many strings to his bow.)

Then, she says, because we have not specifically mentioned this particular connection of his to the messianic movement, we therefore support those who UPHOLD him and ENDORSE HIM!!!!!

She does not provide any facts. She does not list WHO these partners in crime are, that we supposedly help to support Rick Joyner. No, she just makes the statement and allows people to be misled on purpose.

Any ministry could be condemned by the same reasoning! Here's an example:

Brenda's ministry opposes the Pope. She exposes his idolatry, ecumenism, interfaith activities and false doctrines. However, she failed to mention that the pope also support women's rights! Therefore Brenda is a feminist, and supports feminist organisations who endorse the Pope!

If you can see the flaw in this reasoning, then you might be able to see how Dillen and Aho have erred in their "research". Yet this reasoning is the ENTIRE BASIS AND FOUNDATION of their accusations!

Agreeing with Joyner?

Dillen then quotes me as saying (in reference to fellow researchers) that I can work alongside somebody without necessarily agreeing with every single thing he or she says - and tries to apply it to people like Rick Joyner, whom I have consistently exposed as a false prophet!!

This is an intention to deceive believers and mislead them as to my true intentions. How can I, who have spent the last ten years exposing false teaching, uphold and support and promote it at the same time?

From the same: "Tricia Tillin wrote a diatribe that proclaimed that any discussion or evaluation of her ministry, Jacob Prasch's and any others they associate with, promote or have declared as "God-given," to be an unwarranted and hate-filled attack."

No, I did not say that. I did not say that ANY discussion or evaluation was a hate-filled attack. Where do you get this, Dillen? But don't trust what I say people, go read it for yourself. My reply to Aho was intentionally humorous, as I believe this is the only answer a sensible person can give to the lunacies of Aho's document. Her article does not deserve to be elevated to the level of serious research because it is not. It can be easily disproved, and I have done so. Of course Dillen resents this, as well she might.

Dillen then quotes me as saying:

"... Now that [Aho]'s putting a stumbling block in the path of those whom God loves and cares for, I HAVE to respond. It's difficult enough to survive in this minefield that is the Church, with the guilt of not submitting to abusive authorities, with the pain of losing friends, with the confusion of not knowing exactly who to trust anymore, and with terrible pressures on all sides to accept deception from Toronto et al, without having to deal with suspicions about the very people whom God has sent to HELP you!!"

OK, let's now read the version that actually appeared in my article, and note how I speak of "the discernment ministries" as the ones God has raised up to help confused Christians. I said nothing specific about MY ministry...

"Now, with this latest article, she [Aho] attacks all the discernment community and in addition the innocent Christians who read our web sites, telling them to be careful and suspicious of what we stand for because they are supposedly falling for a great masterplan of deception! Now that she's putting a stumbling block in the path of those whom God loves and cares for, I HAVE to respond.

"It's difficult enough to survive in this minefield that is the Church, with the guilt of not submitting to abusive authorities, with the pain of losing friends, with the confusion of not knowing exactly who to trust anymore, and with terrible pressures on all sides to accept deception from Toronto et al, without having to deal with suspicions about the very people whom God has sent to HELP you!! May God forgive her for this".

Notice the subtle changes? Dillen chooses to leave out the part that identifies the discernment ministries in general as "those who help you" and implies arrogance in applying it merely to MYSELF. This is the handiwork of the devil, not a serious, loving and reasonable researcher. She is simply out to attack and destroy anybody she disagrees with.

Dillen states: "If we follow a person rather than acknowledging the truth in a matter, what and who, are we becoming a servant to? If someone declares they stand against something and yet facts reveal they stand in agreement with that very issue--what does that say?"

(1) DELIBERATE DISTORTION! Dillen suggests that I require people to accept what I say, rather than "the truth". THE EXACT OPPOSITE IS TRUE, and here again we see the devil's trick of turning everything on its head, making black white and white black.

I have placed my research on a website. That is all. I have encouraged those who come and read the articles to make up their own minds whether or not I am telling the truth. If any are so minded to reject my research then I have no hold over them; I always encourage people to make up their own minds.

(2) WHAT ARE THE "FACTS"? Secondly, Dillen says "the facts reveal..." --- what facts? Dillen and Aho have invented the facts in the first place! They then base their charges on them. If they want to prove that I "stand in agreement" with latter-rain, dominionist teaching, the new world order and the apostasy then they will have to present something more convincing than a couple of external links on my site that they don't agree with!!

However, the cannot and never will expose me as a deceiver and conspirator, because seek as they might they will never find anything remotely secretive or deceptive about what I do; nor will they find that I am untrue to my stated beliefs or aims. Simply, I have nothing to hide, and Dillen and Aho are WRONG.

WHO ARE THESE TROUBLEMAKERS?

Vicky Dillen does not work alone. She is one member of a secetive "research group" dedicated to destroying ministries that they disagree with. While claiming to have uncovered "a conspiracy" that in reality does not exist, they themselves are the true undercover agents and agitators, using pretense, spies and underhanded methods to do their destructive work.

Vicky Dillen has drawn much of her flawed "research" - if one can grace it with such a name - from Lin Sellers, who runs a site called "Rapture Watch" where the only name given is "Jamma".

A number of additional organisations and individuals have fallen for these paranoid ravings, including Barbara Aho (Watch Unto Prayer), Wendy Howard and Wendy Beutser (Despatch Magazine), Steve Van Nattan (Balaam's Ass), Tom Lamb (Radical Pilgrim), an anonymous Montana-based conspiracy nut ("Watcher" website), George and Rita Williams (Cephas Ministry) and a number of right-wing patriot sites such as "Youth Of America". Others, including Linda and David Liben, have made their own slanted contributions to this same group (including damaging material on David Wilkerson and other discernment ministires) and are now publicly washing their hands of the results - yet continuing whenever they get the opportunity to plant spurious and exaggerated "information" on ministries that deserve no such treatment.

At the heart of this group are dedicated and passionately deceived individuals who fuel the whole ongoing anti-discernment debate with their slanders. They view almost anything British as suspicious, believing England to be the home of all conspiracies to overthrow society!

They consider those who believe in the gifts of the Spirit in this day and age to be already halfway to the devil, with the Pentecostal Movement and what they call the "Zionist" movement as kingpins of the New World Order! And to believe anything other than the pre-seven-year rapture or to read any bible other than the 1611 King James brings you under the deepest suspicion.

Not content to simply hold these beliefs quietly without condemning others (as the bible commands) they make it their business to label anyone who does not happen to subscribe to conspiracy theories as a deceiver. Indeed, if you do NOT agree with them you are likely to find your name appearing on their ever-lengthening list of those in cahoots with the New World Order!!

Because some of them also produce long articles on conspiracies, they have been mistaken as serious researchers. But although their articles appear at first glance to be weighty and filled with information, on reading them one quickly discovers the methodology to be fatally flawed. They construct a case to suit their own perceptions out of widely differing pieces of information taken out of proper context and play the "guilt by association" game to link people and events together that in reality have no connection.

If two events happened in the same locality or the same year, or if two organisations hosted the same speaker, these "researchers" conclude that there must be a network of like-minded participants "organising something".

This is not only their conclusion for historical events, but also today's conferences. It has been stated that individual discernment ministers, because they happen to speak together on the same platform one time, have some kind of secret underground organisation going that "plans the apostasy". When you ask for the evidence of this, they wink and nod wisely and rub their noses as much as to say, well there's no evidence, but we know anyway!

One has to wonder at their reasons for casting suspicion on those who are simply trying to expose the apostasy and New World Order. But work it out for yourselves. Suspicions are planted and people's reputations are tarnished, all because of a lie. This is not the work of God, folks. It is LUCIFER who is the "Accuser of the Brethren" and his method is identical to that used by these women.

Dillen also has a band of deluded followers, including Dana Hoard and Sally Germer, and a number of undercover agents who infiltrate mailing lists, bulletin boards and personal correspondences in order to obtain incriminating material. If they do not uncover anything they can use honestly, they twist statements and put a spin on innocent comments to make them appear damning. (Matt 22:34-36)

For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. (Jer 5:26)

Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul. Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God. (Ps 56:5)

WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS?

If Dillen and Co. have their way, all the discernment ministries that are now opposing deception, false teaching and apostasy will be discredited and removed. Who would most benefit from that?

Most of you are aware that there is an antichrist agenda to bring in a false "kingdom" to rule over the earth and to ensnare every man women and child on earth in their net. It is therefore our URGENT task to sound the alarm and to rescue those who are in danger.

But our accusers prefer to while away their time on earth "researching" fellow-believers, and imagining conspiracies from the cloning of the Dolly the sheep, to a picture of a dove in a stained glass church window. Truly, they strain at gnats but swallow a camel! (Matt 23:24).

WHO BENEFITS?

I have received e-mails applauding what Aho and Dillen have done, and cursing me for my work exposing deception, saying that I am now receiving God's judgement for coming against Toronto. These e-mails come from supporters of the false revival. The writers have no problem accepting underhanded and secretive investigations, and lying insinuations, so long as it removes the thorn of discernment ministries from their sides! Dillen and Aho are doing them a favour, so they say!

Isn't it interesting that the ONLY people who applaud and rejoice in the Dillen/Aho attacks on discernment ministries are hateful, cursing, revival fanatics?

And that the people who put such materials on their websites are white supremacist, right-wing patriots or conspiracy cranks who believe in little green men from Mars?

The only people who "benefit" from what Dillen is saying are the enemies of truth! If Dillen and her group hope to persuade us that they are on the side of truth, they should stop providing the enemy with ammunition!

WHAT IS THE REAL BASIS TO THEIR ACCUSATIONS?

Aho, Dillen and her group have said, and devoutly believe, that the ministries they have attacked (and the list grows daily) are not only deceiving the Church, but are part of a wider conspiracy to promote the heresies of the apostasy!

It is not enough for them to simply disagree with their fellow-workers. No, the charges go far beyond that! They actually accuse us all of being masonic/new-age change-agents at work within the churches! They see discernment ministries such as mine as belonging to some kind of secret cabal whose members are on the Net only for the purpose of leading Christians into the New World Order!

The main string to their bow is that the discernment ministries do not sufficiently expose Messianic believers as heretics! But what Dillen and her friends always fail to do is to make a distinction between those who have been saved out of Judaism and now consider it to be a false religion (such as Yacov Prasch) and those who actively promote a liberal ecumenistic Hebraic Roots agenda, such as Rick Joyner.

I feel sorry for them because they have been deluded. There is a very narrow dividing line between discernment and suspicion, understanding and paranoia. Some who started out researching subjects like the new-age and the occult have ended up seeing demons everywhere. Weary of exposing true deception, they are turning to ever-more bizarre conspiracies and theories, implicating everyone from Prince Charles to a humble English Vicar!! (Indeed, merely being British is suspect according to these folks!)

Nobody is safe! Every statement, nuance or article is scrutinised for "heresies" and with the delight of a blood-sucking bat they home in on any rich vein that appears to them to provide a hint of false teaching - but according to their own understanding, not according to those of the Bible. THIS IS NOT DISCERNMENT BUT PARANOIA.

HOW DO THEY INCRIMINATE CHRISTIANS?

In order to make a division between those who fit into the Dillen creed and those who do not, Vicky Dillen recently sent out a questionnaire to a large number of well-known ministries. This list of forty-one questions was slanted against anyone who did not comply with her own beliefs.

Anyone who does not answer positively to all her probing questions will be exposed on her website as a suspicious character. Refusing to respond to Dillen will be a confirmation that the person involved is hiding something and therefore is not to be trusted!

Yet (as you can see HERE) Dillen's questions concern subjects that are not fundamental tenets of the faith, but non-essentials. While these things are important, they are NOT a cause for breaking fellowship with other truly born-again people!

A New Inquisition

As most of you know, the Catholic System of centuries past believed itself so very right and infallible on every point that it refused to accept that there might be any who deviated from its teaching.

Convinced of their own correctness, the Catholics eventually set up trials and inquisitions for anyone who dared to disagree. They ended up torturing, burning and condemning to hell genuine believers whose only crime was to deviate from the Catholic belief-system!

But is that so very far from the present attitude of Vicky Dillen, Barbara Aho and others who insist that their beliefs on the rapture, bible translations, tongues, once-saved-always-saved are so superior and infallible that they dare to set up a public inquisition for other ministers on the Net?

The only result of Dillen's questionnaire will be division, and bad feeling, and suspicions arising about the fitness of men and women to conduct their ministries. Is this the work of the Lord that we know and worship?

But this is the hallmark of Dillen's work - suspicion being raised without sufficient cause, attacks being launched by e-mail and website articles against anyone she disagrees with, all to the detriment of the Body as a whole and to the work of discernment ministries in particular.

Truly the bible commands us: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. (Rom 16:17-18) .

WHY DO THEY FEAR THE LIGHT?

Here is what the Bible says:

1 Tim 5:19-21 Against an elder [minister] receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

These accusers of the brethren have set themselves up as judge, jury and executioner, without witnesses or a biblical process to establish the facts. They judge others through "guilt by association", through unsubstantiated accusations, hearsay, distortions, rumours, through false assumptions and through out and out lies.

Jacob Prasch has challenged these people to meet him in an open public debate, video-recorded for all to see, so that these accusations against him (three articles on the Dillen site and many other references to Jacob Prasch as an evil deceiver and heretic) might be examined and either upheld or dropped. Unable to answer the call for evidence, they have refused!

This by itself shows their duplicity and hypocrisy. If they have charges of heresy against any of us, let them show the evidence in front of witnesses!

What should be our response?

Discernment ministries have no desire to waste their time fighting battles with Dillen and Aho. I consider them foolish and misguided and I hope that in time sense will prevail. They may intend to discredit us, but we wish them no harm. We are content to allow them to pursue the kinds of subjects they enjoy, so long as they leave us alone to do God's work in the way we see best.

However, if they persist in attacking, denigrating, maligning and accusing their brothers and sisters in Christ, may God have mercy on them! For they are storing up wrath for the Day of Judgement. (Rom 2:5-6)

The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.      Ps 119:110-111
